Na rynku jest dostępnych wiele aplikacji mobilnych do nauki języków obcych, często oparte są one na sztucznej inteligencji. Najpopularniejsze nich, takie jak Babbel, Duolingo, Busuu, Memrise, Drops, Lirica, Hello Talk, HiNative… dla wielu osób są bardzo wygodnym sposobem na naukę języka obcego. Są one dostępne na smartfony i tablety, dzięki czemu można się uczyć w dowolnym miejscu i czasie. W dużej mierze oparte są o grywalizację, tzn. wprowadzają elementy gry do nauki języka. Nauka w aplikacjach oparta jest na systemie punktów oraz wyzwań.
Za każdy ukończony poziom czy regularność uczący się otrzymuje nagrody, które mają zwiększyć zaangażowanie i motywację. Wykorzystują one mechanizm nauki poprzez zabawę, w trakcie której nasz mózg wydziela dopaminę wzmacniającą nawyk nauki.
Jak z nich korzystać?
Najlepiej zaplanuj krótkie systematyczne sesje i traktuj je jako urozmaicenie do tradycyjnych metod nauki. Wybierz kurs dostosowany do twojego poziomu i wykonuj zadania po kolei, by stopniowo zdobywać wiedzę. Stosuj je raczej do powtórek i utrwalenia materiału, który poznałeś przy wykorzystaniu innych metod czy narzędzi.
Czy są skuteczne?
Trudno powiedzieć. Osobiście nie znam osoby, która nauczyła języka obcego, używając tylko aplikacji mobilnych. Testowałam kilka z wymienionych wcześniej aplikacji i żadna mnie nie urzekła. Może dlatego, że nie lubię rywalizować, a system nagród bardziej mnie denerwował niż motywował do nauki. Testy robiłam na darmowych wersjach i często ilość pojawiających się reklam, powodowała, że bardzo szybko się demotywowałam i nie zachęcało mnie to do zakupu płatnej wersji.
Jeżeli lubisz gry, myślę, że taki sposób nauki będzie dla ciebie interesujący. Aplikacje nie nauczą cię jednak poprawnie pisać czy rozmawiać w języku obcym. W tych aspektach najlepiej sprawdzą się tradycyjne lekcje.
Platformy e-learningowe
Na platformach e-learningowych można znaleźć kursy online, materiały wideo, nagrania webinarów, lekcje z lektorami itp. Są one doskonałym rozwiązaniem dla osób, które chcą się uczyć samodzielnie i potrzebują, by ktoś im tę naukę usystematyzował. Materiały na takich platformach z reguły tworzone są przez doświadczonych nauczycieli i lektorów. Wykupując dostęp sam, decydujesz, kiedy się uczyć i ile czasu poświęcać na naukę. Często dają również możliwość kontaktu z nauczycielem i innymi uczestnikami kursu na dedykowanych dla nich forach lub grupach.
Jak z nich korzystać?
Zacznij od ustalenia, jaki jest twój cel językowy, a następnie wybierz kurs dostosowany do twoich potrzeb. Ustal harmonogram nauki i do dzieła. Nie ma na nich możliwości systematycznych konwersacji w języku, którego się uczysz. Aby w pełni osiągnąć sukces w nauce przez platformę, konieczne jest uzupełnienie kursu o systematyczne konwersacje z lektorem, który pomoże ci się rozgadać.
Media
Wykorzystanie mediów w nauce języka obcego to doskonały sposób na zanurzenie się w języku bez wyjeżdżania do kraju, gdzie jest on powszechnie używany. Jest to tzw. immersja, czyli ciągły kontakt z uczonym językiem. Przebywając w kraju, gdzie dany język jest językiem oficjalnym, uczymy się mimochodem, ponieważ jesteśmy nim otoczeni cały czas. Możesz osiągnąć podobne rezultaty, oglądając ulubiony serial, słuchając podcastów, czy czytając książki, czasopisma, blogi też możesz uczyć się języka.
Filmy i seriale
Śledzenie na ekranie losów ulubionych bohaterów seriali czy filmów możesz też wykorzystać do nauki języka. Kiedy zaczynasz oglądać filmy czy seriale w oryginalnej wersji językowej, nie wybieraj zbyt trudnych tematów takich jak medycyna, czy prawo. Zbyt duża ilość branżowego słownictwa i zwrotów może cię zniechęcić. Jeżeli dopiero zaczynasz przygodę z językiem, nie bój się oglądać filmów czy seriali stworzonych z myślą o najmłodszych. Używane w nich słownictwo jest nieskomplikowane a wymowa spokojna, dzięki czemu łatwiej ci będzie oswoić się z akcentem.
Na początku możesz też oglądać film lub serial z włączonymi napisami. Staraj się, by napisy były w języku, którego się uczysz, a nie twoim rodzimym. Możesz też zacząć od produkcji, które już znasz. Nie tłumacz wszystkich zwrotów i nie zniechęcaj się, jeżeli na początku nie wszystko będziesz rozumieć. To normalne. Skup się na tym, by zrozumieć kontekst. Takie podejście pozwoli ci oswoić się z akcentem i melodią języka.

Podobnie jak w przypadku filmów czy seriali, znajdź podcast czy audiobook, który cię zainteresuje. Przede wszystkim wybierz poziom, który jest adekwatny dla twojej znajomości języka. W aplikacjach podcastowych możesz znaleźć materiały przeznaczone dla osób uczących się języka na różnych poziomach zaawansowania. Podcasty i audiobooki są bardzo dobrym rozwiązaniem, ponieważ możesz ich słuchać wszędzie, np. podczas spaceru z psem, czy podczas wykonywania codziennych czynności. Słuchaj regularnie, a szybko zobaczysz efekty.
Blogi i książki
Czytanie jest doskonałym sposobem na poszerzenie słownictwa. Jeżeli jesteś na początku swojej przygody z językiem, zacznij od książek opracowanych z myślą o osobach uczących się języka. Zazwyczaj są to powieści czy opowiadania przepisane w uproszczonym języku, tak by osoba ucząca się mogła zrozumieć treść. Podobnie jak w przypadku podcastów, czy seriali, znajdź publikację dostosowaną do twojego poziomu i odpowiadającą twoim zainteresowaniom. Poza książkami możesz też czytać blogi i wiadomości z serwisów informacyjnych. Staraj się czytać regularnie.
Jak z nich korzystać?
Staraj się regularnie poświęcać 20-30 minut na obcowanie z językiem, którego się uczysz. Dobieraj materiały dostosowane do twojego poziomu znajomości języka i nie zniechęcaj się po kilku minutach. Jeżeli materiał, który wybrałeś/wybrałaś, jest dla ciebie za trudny, poszukaj innego łatwiejszego i wróć do niego później. Nie tłumacz wszystkiego, co usłyszysz lub przeczytasz za pomocą translatorów. Staraj się znaleźć znaczenie na podstawie kontekstu sytuacji. Często to samo wyrażenie, zmienia znaczenie w zależności od kontekstu, w którym zostało użyte.

Zamiast ambitnego planu “będę płynnie mówił w języku obcym za rok”, codziennie będę się uczył języka przez 15 minut. Zastanów się też nad tym, w jaki sposób będziesz mierzył swoje postępy w nauce, np. wykonując dostępne w internecie testy, rozmawiając z innymi.
Nauka języka to nie wkuwanie na pamięć słówek i reguł gramatycznych, to proces, który może skuteczny i przyjemny. Kluczem do sukcesu jest określenie swojego stylu nauki i spersonalizowanie procesu. Pamiętaj, że nie istnieje jedna uniwersalna metoda nauki języka obcego. To, co działa dla jednych, niekoniecznie będzie dobre dla ciebie. Eksperymentuj, baw się i odkrywaj własny sposób na skuteczną naukę. Nie bój się mieszać różnych metod, tych tradycyjnych z tymi nowoczesnymi. Google Ads
I use the remarketing features available under the Google advertising system the US company Google LLC provided. When you visit our website, a Google cookie remarketing file is automatically left on your device, which collects information about your activity on our website.
Thanks to the information collected in this way, I am able to show you ads within the Google network depending on your behaviour on my website.
For example, if you display a product, the remarketing cookie file will record information about this fact, allowing us to send you an advertisement regarding that product or any other that we deem appropriate.

As part of the LinkedIn advertising system, I have access only to Anonymous Information.

I use the MailerLite mailing system provided by the Irish company MailerLite Limited. Subscription forms for mailing lists embedded on my pages may use cookie technology to ensure the proper functioning of these forms and measure their conversion. For information collected in MailerLite cookies in order to I do not have access to the proper functioning of the forms – I am only interested in the form working properly. When it comes to measuring the conversion of enrollment forms, I only have access to anonymous statistical information.
In addition, I use the additional function of the MailerLite system, which consists in controlling the frequency of pop-ups with subscription forms to mailing lists. For this purpose, the MailerLite cookie is used, which stores information about the pop-up being displayed to you in order not to display it to you again for a specified period of time.
In addition, I use an additional feature of the MailerLite system – a website builder. The websites created in this way are stored within the MailerLite infrastructure and use MailerLite cookies to ensure their proper operation and provide insight into anonymous statistics to assess the effectiveness of the websites.
Hotjar
I use the Hotjar tool to better understand your needs and optimise my website for your experience. The tool is provided by Hotjar Limited.
Hotjar records every visitor to my site and allows you to play a video recording of their traffic on my site, as well as generate so-called heat maps. As part of the Hotjar tool, I do not have access to information that allows us to identify you because Hotjar does not record the process of completing the forms intended for the transfer of personal data.
In order to use Hotjar, we have implemented a special Hotjar tracking code in my page code. The tracking code uses cookies from Hotjar Limited. The information collected as part of cookies is stored by Hotjar as part of a pseudonymous user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we use this information to identify you.
